A Dramatic Video of Jeni, Beef Noodle Soup, Cocktails and Me

Place To Be from Joel Kuwahara on Vimeo.

Our friend JK shot this one evening while we made Chinese beef noodle soup and cocktails. Random combo I know - but this is how we do it. Video shot on a Canon 7d with 50 mm 1.4 lens. Thanks JK, you made us look very dramatic.

Aww... you guys are so adorable. :) I didn't think it was dramatic in a bad way at all. At most it shows the two of you being foodies and loving it.

Jaded, hello! Long time no comment haha. Thank god there were no shots of us devouring food like slops.

CookieChomper, when I said it was dramatic, I really meant it ha. We move that slow in general due to all of the eating.

Alice, BNS is one of my favorite things to cook. I've been working on my recipe for nearly 4 years and i'm STILL experimenting. Thanks for visiting.

Hi E D B M,

Such a beautiful video! (^_^) I love the relaxing mood and candor caught here. I love how you write down the recipes on a chalkboard before you start making things at home. :)

You can use the video as an ad for your blog!

That was a very cute video. It's amazing how cameras are so capable of recording such high quality videos. I like the slow motion of it all and the shallow depth of field. It gives the whole video some character, which you both have lots of. I'm starting to drool because of the beef noodle soup.. bah!
